Modified Days

Modified Day Schedules and Procedures

Modified days for staff development, final exams or work days have been built into the district calendar throughout the school year. An unscheduled modified day may be announced due to unexpected circumstance. In the event of an unscheduled modified day, every effort will be made to give parents as much advance notice as possible to assist in making arrangements for their children. The following plan details modified day schedules and procedures:
 

Elementary
Students will be dismissed at 11:50 a.m.; a sack lunch will be available; medications will be given based on parent discussion with the school nurse at the beginning of the school year.
 

Middle School
Students will be dismissed at 12:25 p.m.; a sack lunch will be available; medications will be given based on parent discussion with the school nurse at the beginning of the school year.

 

High School
Students will be dismissed at 12:25 p.m.; a sack lunch will be available; medications will not be given.

 

Four Rivers Career Center
Washington morning students are dismissed at 10 a.m. and then return to the high school for the remainder of the day. Afternoon classes at FRCC are not held.
 

Early Learning Center
Early Learning Center's schedule varies on scheduled modified days.
